We have good stocks of reeds available. Metric dent sizes will be on the website soon. Please ring if you want to check suitability. Toika reeds fit Ashford, Louet, Glimakra and many other makes of loom. So far, we haven't found one that they don't fit! Our order of out of stock sizes are almost ready to leave Finland and should be delivered in the next couple of weeks.
Thank you for the lovely messages you have sent us since we announced our planning for retirement. We will be here for a good while yet, we have plenty of stock and more still to arrive!

Business Hours, contacting us by phone or email and arranging visits.
We are usually open Monday to Friday, 9-5 but cannot always answer the phone or respond to emails immediately. If you would like us to call you back please leave us a message and we will do so as soon as we are able, but it may not be on the same day. Opening hours may also change from week to week, as we attend medical appointments. We will keep this page, phone message and banner on the website updated. Planned closures will also be listed here. When we are closed there will also be an additional tick box at the checkout reminding customers of when orders will be despatched.
We can now offer Click and Collect from our premises in Lutterworth and resume visits to our premises to test looms by appointment only. Please telephone if you want to arrange a visit, test or discuss looms or equipment or to arrange a collection. We can arrange a video demonstration for looms if you prefer not to travel and can certainly answer questions on looms, equipment and yarns.
If you prefer to place your order by phone, have questions or need to discuss an order we welcome your calls and look forward to hearing from you. If we can't answer the phone please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we can. If you wish to discuss Toika or Ashford looms or equipment please get in touch. We keep good stocks of Toika reeds and some equipment. Toika reeds fit most makes of loom including Ashford, Harris and Louet, please phone if you cannot see what you are looking for on the website, we may well have it in stock.
We still have orders from our some of suppliers in progress. We will update this page when we expect or have recieved new deliveries. There are delays in all parts of the supply chain. Our suppliers are doing their best to process our orders as quickly as they can but most of the reasons for delays are outside of both theirs and our control. We appreciate your patience.
We have had deliveries of linen, cotton and wool and the website updated to reflect this, but we are still expecting deliveries over the coming weeks.
We have started to remove items from the website that will not be restocked. Items that we are still waiting for and that we expect to arrive in the next few weeks will remain visible on the website but showing as out of stock. We hope this will help with planning your orders. Please get in touch if you need more information on stock levels.

We still have stock that may need winding or be at our store so make take a little longer to despatch. Subscribers to Jane Stafford's Online Guild can still find identical yarns suitable to use for her online courses in our shop. We can also suggest sources for yarns that we do not stock.
Where's my parcel?
Updated June 20th 2022. Please note posting days are now are usually Tuesday to Friday mornings at 8am unless we are closed. We charge for standard first or second class Royal Mail services for all orders that meet the small parcel weight and measurment requirements. Heavier or larger orders are sent using Parcel Force. The options available for your order are listed for selection at the checkout. Some items are priced with delivery costs included. When this is available the information will be in the item description and you will be able to select 'Free Postage' at the checkout, if you select a postage option you will be charged for this. Our system generates an email to you once we have your parcel wrapped and labeled ready to be taken to the sorting office. Due to restricted opening hours you may get a despatch email before we have dropped off your parcel. The tracking number sent with your despatch email is generated by Royal Mail as a means of identifying the parcel once it is in their network. It will only update when the package has been delivered or an attempt at delivery has been made. Once the parcel has left we can do nothing to influence when or how it is delivered.
We will continue to post within the restrictions of our sorting office. Their opening hours are limited to early morning opening only. We process and post orders as quickly as posssible. Stock that is kept at our store or yarn that needs to be wound will take longer to be ready for despatch. Unless the banner says otherwise when we are open we post early mornings Tuesday to Friday. We process full priced orders in the in the order they are placed. Orders placed over the weekend will normally be posted on Tuesday. Please allow a longer despatch time for sale items.
Orders that are too big or heavy for Royal Mail are sent with Parcel Force. They require 24 hours notice for collection so will usually be despatched Tuesday to Friday. There will be information at the checkout when posting will be delayed.
We can only track where your parcel is if you have requested and paid for a tracked or guaranteed service. If your order is time critical we advise that you get in touch to discuss which options are available. Please allow for longer delivery times, there are still much larger volumes of parcels in the delivery networks, staff shortages and revised working practices. Unfortunately due to Covid infections, changes in working practice, holidays and staff shortages there are still delays in delivery times in some areas as staff shortages occur.

Please contact us by phone before placing your order if you want to use a guaranteed service and we will quote the price for delivery.
