This page contains all of our Covid-19 and other important announcements. Please check this page regularly for updates.
We hope you are keeping well during these unprecedented times. We are able to continue to work safely within current government guidelines so are still processing orders and posting them as quickly as we can subject to some restrictions. We remain closed to visitors but can facilitate safe, contactless colllection by arrangement.
Our opening hours for telephone orders & email enquiries remain Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm. If you prefer to place your order by phone or just fancy a chat, we welcome your calls and look forward to hearing from you. If you wish to discuss Toika or Ashford looms or equipment please get in touch.
Please note that we will be closed for a break from Saturday 4th – Monday 13th July. Last orders Thursday 2nd July, will be posted on Friday 3rd July at 8am. Orders placed whilst we are closed will be posted Tuesday 14th July. Thank you for your patience.
We are well stocked and continue to add new products to the website. We have now added a few sizes of Texsolv heddles, Texsolv beam and tie up cord available by the metre as well as both types of Texsolv pegs. We have 8 new colours in our very popular 20/2 Silk. We still have a limited number of Ashford Rigid Heddles with free postage. We still have new yarns, new colours and more equipment to put in the shop.
Some of our suppliers are have reopened with some restrictions so we are restocking wherever we can. There are still some delays on some products. Please phone or email if you have a question about availability of particular products or want to discuss alternatives. We expect a delivery of cotton and Tencel next week which will remove many of those out of stock labels! We keep good stocks, this means that we are almost always able to supply you directly from stock. This does now mean some items have to be kept at our store. This means that it isn't always possible to despatch these products the same day as they are ordered. Where this applies this information is dispayed in the product descriptions. We always aim to process and post orders as quickly as possible.
Our local sorting office is still working to revised opening hours so we are unable to post while they are closed. We are currently posting at 8:00am on Monday, Thursday and Friday of each week. We aim to post orders placed by 6pm on the next scheduled posting day. We generate an email to you once we have dropped your parcel at the sorting office. Royal Mail and Parcelforce delivery guarantees are still suspended and they are still very busy but most orders are arriving as normal or with only short delays.
|Because of restrictions and delays in deliveries we are temporarily unable to serve customers outside of the UK.|
We understand that recieving your order quickly so you can get on with a project is always important but probably even more so in these difficult times. We know from the messages of thanks and support that you send us that you appreciate our efforts to get your orders processed and ready to be posted to you as quickly as we can. Thank you for your messages and for your continuing support. We do appreciate it.
Keep safe everyone!
