Webs Tencel 8/2 - Mineral Green

Webs 8/2Ne Tencel in the full range of 41 solid colours. Tencel is the trade name for yarn made from 100% Lyocell. Made using a similar manufacturing process for rayon but using a closed loop system which recycles water and chemicals so is deemed to be more environmentally friendly. Made from cellulose it is also biodegradable. Fully interchangeable with the Brassard Tencel we stock, it also works well for differential shrinkage or matt and shiny effects. Often used for projects in Handwoven Magazine. It makes beautiful wraps and scarves and yardage for garments. It has a lovely sheen and drape. The natural takes Procion Dyes beautifully. The yarn is smooth and strong and can also be used for knitting and crochet. Standard put up is 100g. Smaller or larger quantities can be supplied wound to order subject to stock availability and a winding charge.
