Jaggerspun Superlamb - 24/2 Nm - Hazelnut - 100g

Super Lamb is made from super wash treated merino lambswool. It offers the special qualities of worsted spun wool combined with the convenience of being able to be machine washed and dried. Woven it produces a fabric with the soft hand expected from lambswool but doesn't shrink or fade even after repeated machine washing. It changes very little when wet finished so sample to be sure that you get the finished cloth that you want. It's a little finer than the JaggerSpun Zephyr and Merino but it weaves to similar setts and its non shrink properties also make it a useful yarn to use with non shrinking yarns such as Tencel or silk for a lovely matt and shiny contrasts. Used with shrinking or highly twisted yarns all sorts of interesting effects can be obtained.
